Cyclopean ruins With strange runes Ancient City Far past it's doom Headed for that sacred room past and future's archival tomb Shadow out of time Corridors my dream's defined shadow out of time memories or a maddened mind through familiar halls I ran home of those from before man long ababdoned below the sands history of earth written in my hand Five years in another's sleeve while they walked around as me I talked to beings long deceased and others who've yet to be Shadow out of time Corridors my dream's defined shadow out of time memories or a maddened mind

Soothsayer 04:15
How Can I say what I have seen? If I told you you'd not believe the details too strange far too obscene even too obscure to've come from dreams My memories haunt me in the night, I get high, to get by A sane man would only stare as I cry, "end is nigh," they pass by We're being watched but no one knows creatures from other planes nobody's alone these strange beings they want our souls our future's fading the death knell tolls we're out of time the end is nigh

I couldn't go there i do not know the way though i've been there the place where pickman stayed you've seen his art you've seen the paintings depicting creatures too far from reality's containing marvelous creation, horrid abominations scenes from Armageddon not even from a maddened mind captured without error, portraits of hate and terror things haven't fared well, richard pickman they won't find He showed me round that place I saw his unholy mastery terror took hold my face I couldn't describe what I've seen the demon in the paint It stared into my soul took everything not to faint Pickman's model was a photo Pickman's missin they wont find hime Richard Pickman something got him

There is a wisdom that is woe; but there is a woe that is madness. And there is a Catskill eagle in some souls that can alike dive down into the blackest gorges, and soar out of them again and become invisible in the sunny spaces. And even if he for ever flies within the gorge, that gorge is in the mountains; so that even in his lowest swoop the mountain eagle is still higher than other birds upon the plain, even though they soar. Do you soar? Have you achieved more than others inside the realm of man? This is no feat, for to truly soar is to break free the confines of reality. I seek the realms beyond man, despite being their kin. I wish to transcend the monotheist world and become not only a pagan, but to take seat in the pantheon. Falling into madness am I? Yes falling indeed, far from the peak of my potential but still a heavenly body fathoms above. The entire world below me as I plumit and the clouds will break my fall. they may kill me there and my blood will rain down, falling upon the realists watching from below. With respect or not, they shall know my name, for fame and infamy are renown all the same.

If I told you my mind traveled time would you believe me? If I told you of eldrige horrors would you believe me? If I told you that I've seen demons would you believe me? Of course not I must be crazy You didn't see it It can't be true If I told you loved ones beat me would you believe me? If I told you I was molested would you believe me? If I told you I had been raped would you believe me? Don't you believe me? No, I'm not crazy you didn't see it but it's true You don't believe me could I be crazy? you didn't see it was it true? of course not... I must be crazy... you didn't see it... it can't be true...

about

Got into Electric Wizard's album "Witchcult Today" and was inspired by their track Dunwich to write my song Shadow Out of Time. Later writing the lyrics for Pickman's Model, Soothsayer, and an early fully-instrumental version of Call of Cthulhu to make an album. It was just going to be those 4 tracks and then two covers: Dunwich by Electric Wizard and Behind The Wall of Sleep by Black Sabbath. The song Woe of Wisdom of Madness was written after reading the first blurb spoken in the song in Moby Dick. Stranger in Reality Head Banging and Disbelief were written during the recording process.
